Nice leak. Guess Alleva is running Miami now.

I will forever associate Cristobal with his work at FIU.

I think he would fail badly at The U

I'm sure they will have Cristobal or Kiffin locked up before they fire Diaz. If they can't get those 2 they will keep Diaz. Thats pretty much what the deal is at this point.

Ideal time to leave IMO. USC is about to put the pac 12 on lockdown.

Agree in theory, but Miami
Leadership is a mess. They’ll find a way to mess this up.

I wouldn't leave Oregon for Miami with the current state of the Miami program. They'd need to clean up a whole lot before I'd take that job

Been the thought for a while.

Try Cristobal first, then Kiffin if he says no.

I'd say there are only 2-3 jobs in the SEC that are not better than Miami at this point.

Nonsense. SC can only recruit 25 players. Oregon will still get their share of talent

Yeah, but Kiffin is desperately trying to get out before next year’s crater. He knows the getting won’t get better than what it is now.

He’s too big for that job.

Unless he wants to rebuild that program on a personal level, they can’t get him.

If Clemson loses Venables, and Miami is able to pull Cristobal...I think we would start to see a power shift in the ACC over the next 3-4 years.

Venables was Dabo's crutch at Clemson, and Cristobal is an elite recruiter that would clean up at Miami.

Miami is going the way of Nebraska.

Miami sits in a hotbed of talent. Nebraska doesn't.

With the right coach and resources Miami can turn around quickly. Nebraska likely won't ever reclaim their prior levels of prominence.
