I remember reading an article where Gage said Canada's offense had him running so much he had to give up drinking root beer. The poor guy had to stop drinking his beloved root beer.

Have you ever met Saban or dealt with him on any level? I have. He is anything but. He is intense when he needs to be but overall he is a pretty nice guy. He just does not like the press and away from the football field he does not talk football.

I hated Canada's offense and still do. It rarely attacks the middle of the field, just the edges and the deep ball. Why concede half the field from the start?
I'm sure it was impressive as hell against those slow-arse big 10 linebackers, but in the sec, without a major speed advantage, it makes it easy on the defense.
