The DC can be in the building. The OC definitely shouldn’t be.

Someone has to run the offense for the bowl game. That’s the primary reason. There’s an off chance he could stay on as QB coach, but he won’t be OC. If he were, there’d be no reason not to announce that.

I really don’t care. If it’s a small name OC like Peetz then all they’re going to be doing is playing second fiddle to Kelly.
Peetz maybe capable of doing that while being incapable of creating and running his own system. Those are two entirely different things and Peetz had practically no help last year as a first year coordinator. That was just a disaster waiting to happen.
That being said, I don’t see it happening.

Oh yeah I have no issue with him still on the staff. You need coaches in place for the bowl game. I just hope he won’t be the OC next year

Only for bowl game. We have enough issues on offense for bowl game. Like no QB to also have no OC.

Just shows that Peetz has no other offers. I'd redo his contract and bump him down to PGC. I feel like he can make some real contributions if he isn't under pressure to call the games. Let the guy learn. Maybe in a few years when the next OC is tearing it up and gets an HC gig, Peetz will be ready.
