My best contact in College Station just gave me word that this is gonna pop soon. I'm hearing he may be taking his freshman qb with him too...Avery Johnson.

I liked him as a player. But I admit I don’t know much about Kansas State’s offense or his playcalling style.

Avery Johnson isn’t going anywhere. Howard just transferred along with 2 other backup QB because Kleiman told Johnson he’s the future.
He loves Kleiman and he’s from Kansas. He’s not leaving to possibly sit if he doesn’t beat out Weigman.
