If UT is so concerned about provding stability, then why the hell hire a guy that's practically the same age as the current coach?

Why not hire a young coach that will be there a while and build up the program for a few years, not a guy that will be seriously looking at retirement in 3-5 yrs?

I could understand it if Saban were 10 yrs younger, but he's over 60 now.

I'm convinced Saban will take one more shot at the nfl. This was his big audition. East coast team with a vacancy still looking for a coach.

I bet tonight that LSU, TAF, Tigerfans could pass the hat around and subsidize Texas' offer..Tigernation could raise millions in the next few weeks to help get CNS outta the SEC.
