This board has become the equivalent of D & D for some of you dorks. Get a life. If Saban or Spurrier were interested in the LSU job and Miles to Michigan was a done deal, why would the people who knew this info leak it to the nerds on TD.

One thing to note:
An item circulating about Miles being hired also says the timing has to be soon because his contract stipulates a renegotiation when he wins 10 games in a season.

THere was an amendment to that contract, I don't think there is any rush, he's got a clause that says he's got to be in the top 3 paid coaches if he wins a national title or sec title, but that was about it.

MY next door neighbor is high up in TAF and he says that John Madden really likes the talent at LSU and that Miles has underachieved for 3 years. As such, Madden's bus was in Baton Rouge yesterday. Another buddy who is even higher up in TAF saw the bus at Tony's Seafood and stopped to say hi. Madden said that he was prepared to take the job but Tony's was back ordered on turducken until after Christmas. Bad timing.

when was the last MAJOR rumor that didn't turn out to be true?
the rant knew that RJF was out for this season long before it was released to teh public
