Thank Les? I disagree with that. Its in his contract. If he wants to go to Michigan, make them pay.

What in the world are you guys talking about? I feel like I'm trying to decipher Navajo code or something just reading all of the "insider" information supposedly being bandied about on this board.

Be clear, will ya? It's just a message board.

Jeez.

You have not been in the real world long have you? Or at least not the corporate world?

Clauses are waived, loans forgiven, stuff like this happens all the time.

I agree, but for someone so tight with the money (Bertman)...he must be very unhappy with the way this situation is being handled

Thanks.

So, what's up with the "it's not Spurrier but it's a big name" rumors being posted. Where that THAT come from?

You know, many on here have bitched about Bertman, but that man has loved LSU. He stayed here and built a tremendous baseball program, which I hope will start to rise back up. He was offered other jobs to coach elsewhere, but he knew that if you built a program at LSU you wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Cash, who are you hearing is the most likely candidate? I am hearing that Spurrier is not interested, but LSU is talking to Nick. 3 million a year, 10 million dollar buyout

Come on how solid is the Michigan Rivals board. Let me guess Spurrier is already in Baton Rouge and will start practicing with the team.

I hope your main source isn't the guy who pasted all that stuff from tiger lair and then took credit for it himself.

I've been saying Spurrier since my first post about this in September. I was provided this info, I did not dream it up.

I'll stick w/ it.

However, if it turns out to be Saban, cool!

Saban has no buyout. He can just walk away . . .
