I remember a few years ago there was a morning call with Kiffin that also went very well...Ed got the job & he never showed up.

I pray this governor is gone in 2 years. He’s done nothing but grandstand and make a fool of himself and the state on national media.

I can’t keep things just to myself and my family. Too much LSU in me to wanna share every little thing I get with all the other passionate fans on here.

If this were true, with this kind of mindset, you would have been posting on TD by now

I can’t believe people fall for this kind of shite, it happens every single cycle

Does Lane really need to escort his son to check out a high school?

That's because he had an opportunity to be a head coach at FAU. When the actual HC position was available, Woodward never offered him even when it was known that he wanted the job. Four years later, both Florida and LSU are open again.

According to Finebaum, Landry called Kiffin personally and spooked them and we have really been out of the real race for a while and are just leverage if that.

Considering everything Landry has done, if this happened, the local media would've been all over this. Haven't heard or read this anywhere.

Great settling for another FG; i.e., Frank Wilson as HC

Omg I remember that

Or Ed just used his name to get the job. Both are believable.

The video you posted proved you are either lying or have poor comprehension, lol. Finebaum said Gov. Landry scared him off with his behavior. He never said he personally called him up, lol. Stop saying shite that’s not true. You could say the same thing about the Mississippi Sect. of State commenting on the Kiffin situation. He is at Ole Miss and has a Mississippi politician putting pressure on him. Nobody is putting pressure on Kiffin from Louisiana that’s what Mississippi is doing.

I’d bet strongly Lane will not be coaching at Ole Miss after this season. Whether that’s NFL, LSU or Florida he will be gone.

His donors have him the balls.

Landry was never going to stop LSU from spending money. Landry just wanted his 5 minutes of fame of being the guvnah that “Railed against bloated sports contracts” and he got to bitchslap SW in the process.

FWIW we are more likely to get Lane now that Woodward is gone

We suck in the red zone. I guess that means he's Florida bound.

Excellent setup for that one. Well done.

He is slowly but surely burning all his bridges at Ole Miss.

Maybe, but Lane has 100% of the leverage on Ole Miss. If Ole Miss thinks otherwise they are sadly mistaken.

What surprised me was how involved Woody was. It’s like Kelly was just a figurehead. A big name hire for the headlines. He only started fighting back when he wanted out. Woodys fingerprints were all over these assistant hires. I’m glad he’s gone.
