I’d take Dillingham first choice over Lane, TBH

It’s certainly a factor when deciding between candidates. Excited fan base leads to renewals, increased donations to the collective, etc. These are things you can overcome by winning obviously but in the short term its a consideration

Again quit trying to be a know it all fggt and look at the big picture

Forget it. The Dilly Dilly cult saw ASU almost beat Texas last season, watched clips of press conferences, and reviewed his Wikipedia page extensively in the last week. That's good enough for them.

I'm definitely in for Dilly. Look at the worm he did with Bo nix. Package deal him and his Qb.

Can any one of you actually make a case for Dillingham other than "Hester likes him"?

Please, change my mind.

I wouldn't be disappointed with Dilly or Drink. Or Kiffin. I'd really like a coach in place by December recruiting. This is Verge's hire, I suppose. I don't like Lea. Hallman got hired from USM because of Brett Favre being his QB. Clark is winning because of his QB. No more Hallmans.

I just have this strange feeling it will be him after the dust settles. LSU is the opportunity he needs. He’s clearly working with little NIL and still getting a great deal out of his rosters. I would not be mad about him being a secondary option to Kiffin.

I’m on the Dilly train. The NFL may come calling if he is great, but Kiffin is pretty damn unpredictable

I’d take him now. Let the Kiffin circus stay in another city.

He's not leaving his Alma Mater. It's lazy to think he's coming to LSU. Just silly

Do you think he can switch conferences, time zones, AND switch from Adidas to Nike?

Its a big ask and #swooshlife is a legit vibe. Kelly couldn't handle it coming from Under Armour.

Lane would literally be changing NONE of these things

Conference - same
Time zone - same
#Swooshlife - same

Personally, I wouldn't waste the time or money on him or Kiffin, for different reasons for each. Could we land him? Yeah. Should we? Probably not. Same with Kiffin. We probably should not land him. He's not worth the money, but in my mind none of these coaches are worth 8 figures.

That’s the market. I think we get Dilly for less than 10 to start. But eventually it is what it is.

It’s the lsu job. Anyone will be basically guaranteed 10 mill with in 3 years.

Who do you think we should target?

Other posts are saying Kiffin to Florida is a lock.

If so….. LSU got problems !!
