This is who I want. Young guy, lots of energy, has done great Xs and Os work with the Lions. Partner him up with a great OC and staff. He doesn’t command huge money, literally could 4/5 years for 25-30 million.
There is no one out there. We need a hire to bring the culture back. Kelvin would do it, former Tiger great, National Champion. Plus a young black coach would excite the minority population of Louisiana. A lot of money to be generated.

It sounds crazy.
But id be willing to bet the results would be better than expected. Recruiting would be immediately back on track, at minimum.
A stellar OC hire would be the key. It’s not going to happen but I don’t quickly hate it.

Agree, also he is extremely likeable and relatable to recruits, tons of energy on the sideline. Knows what it takes to be great at college and the next level. You get him and a young hotshot OC together and there would be a lot of excitement there.

Apparently you are.
Oregon has more money than LSU could dream of.
Unless hes homesick and wants to come back to the South, but why?
Probably easier to win in Big Ten than SEC. Only have to deal with Ohio State. Indiana having their one blip on the radar, but who else?

Same thing could be said about Deion Sanders.
I'm not trying to crap on Kelvin Sheppard, he's doing a good job with Detroit, but he's to new to coaching and has only been a coordinator for 11 games (including preseason). We already did the whole "hire him, he's one of us" things with Orgeron.

don’t get the hype with this guy
They saw him a couple times on a prime time NFL broadcast and the announcers mentioned him so he must be the second coming

You know who else looked good as Detroit’s DC?
Aaron Glenn. How’s that working out for the Jets?

Because Phil knight is involved and he has some sort of vesting stock option stuff with Nike. The longer he stays the more shares he gets

Him or Hartline.
You don’t find the Kirby smart, Dan lanning, Ryan day, or Freeman otherwise

You right. That Natty sucked too. I don't even count it honestly.

And I'm sure another was just right around the corner after going 5-5 and 6-6 the next two years afterwards. I mean just look at all the division 1 schools dying to get Orgeron to take over their programs. Shoot, I can't turn on the tv without hearing his name splattered all over the news every time a job opening comes up.

All the young Libtard Wokesters want him even though he's not remotely qualified to be the HC at LSU................
