Just name Joe Sloan OC/QB coach.

Adding Baker and Davis mitigates any loss in recruiting should Hankton then leave. BK can find another WR coach. The work Sloan did in transforming Daniels from Year 1 to Year 2, shows his worth on the offense. LSU needs to improve the defense and not regress on Offense. The choice is pretty clear, Sloan for OC.

Hankton makes $850,000 to coach fricking wide receivers. Thats a damn good gig with a light stress work load

Rumors on here saying he might leave if he's not given the OC position.

Fully agree. Give him and Hankton both a good raise and lock them down. Davis too. We need them going forward. They've had us firing on all cylinders and with the class coming in, namely Trey'Dez Green, we're going to score a shite ton of points.

Plus the new QB recruits, need Sloan to work with them. He tutored the Heisman winner.

Why don't you stop being an impatient moron and let Kelly do what he feels is best?

No...you wait and let Kelly do his job

I do wonder how Joe is as a play caller.
Coaching QBs and calling plays is different. Doesn’t mean he’s not capable but we don’t have a huge sample size.
Anyone know of how he was at LATech?
I will say his performance with JD as a QBs coach was impeccable.

Simple as this. Sloan is Kelly’s guy he is developing as a coach. Don’t see Kelly going elsewhere unless it is a very very proven commodity.

Hankton to Satan and Bama if we don't give him OC.

Not too bad at all for Hankton.

Hankton is an up and comer. If they don’t promote him this year, he might not leave, but it wouldn’t be long before he does. He isn’t trying to coach WRs the rest of his career.
There will always be another young, hip coach who didn’t make it in the NFL that is just as knowledgeable as Cortez that can fill the role.
With that said, hope Hankton is here for awhile

That would be fine with me. Hankton can be passing game coordinator with a nice little raise.
