Napier should be listening to TCU because he isn't going to get the LSU job unless Woodward strikes out on a whole host of other far more qualified candidates.

You just couldn’t help yourself could you had to start another thread on Napier. Did your mom not give you enough attention? Is that what this is all about? Get this in your head Napier is not going to be the next head coach at LSU. You can bet your arse that Woodward will not put his legacy in the hands of an unproven coach at the power five level.
Woodward is not like Coach -O, Who put his career in the hands of two unknown coordinators and it cost him his job. I may not like Woodward selection, but I’ll guarantee you it’s not going to be Napier.

You expect him to not interview with other teams? Just cause he’s not going to accept offers from other schools until he knows what’s up with LSU doesn’t mean he wouldn’t interview. And really, it’s the smart move on his part. Maybe not interviewing on a game day, but going through the interview process with 2nd/3rd choices is just good business for yourself.

Napier is a damn good fallback option in case the top choices don't work out for us. I wouldn't mind this hire at all even though it's risky.
