Hear me out before you go nuts and want to kill me , I am not understanding all the love for Jimbo? Yes he won a national championship but again he is in the ACC and his record is OK but again it is the ACC.
2010 10-4, won the Chick-Fil-A, final ranking of 16/17
2011 9-4 Won the Champs Sports Bowl, final ranking of 23/24
2012 12-2 Won Orange Bowl, final ranking of 8/10
2013 14-0 won BCS, final ranking of 1
2014 13-1, loss in Rose Bowl, final ranking of 6/5
2015 10-3 Loss in Peach, final ranking of 14/14
2016 is 7-3

Just help me out with all the love for Jimbo. And don't get me wrong, he is a good coach but do we want to pay him the amount of money he will ask. Remember we are still paying for the foolish mistake they made with Miles.

Just saying. So go ahead and

You can't just cherry pick the games you want to compare to. Jimbo has a fricking national championship and a long history of developing QB and recruiting top 5 classes

dude, dealing with these no perspective, mo objectivity, no rationality nitwits is like arguing with a libtard on economics and trade and immigration. They will never get it. willfully obtuse and ignorant.

Derp. I'd rather hire a 10-26 head coach over a national championship winning coach with a history of developing QBs.

No thanks, I'd rather see us keep CEO and see if ensminger can give us some better planning and if he doesn't interview well, go out and find a OC who can utilize talent and a QB coach who is a QB whisperer.

I tell you what list both their resumes side by side then tell me why Coach O should get the LSU job over Jimbo.

Look dipshit, I didn't cherry pick. I used THIS frickING YEAR. We can go back to last year if you want. Did Jimbo develop Golson or Maguire last year? No.

He managed to crap the bed against Houston, Clemson and GaTech. Isn't that less than what we all shite on Miles for?

This year he loses to his rival, gets beat by UNC, goes to the wire against NCSU, goes to the wire against Miami, and embarrassed by Louisville. It's the same shite we've dealt with.

Bingo! Don't forget the undefeated season and number one ranking, promptly followed by a skulldragging in the playoff. We still want to crucify Miles for losing 21-0 to Bama in the BCSCG 5 years ago. Jimbo lost by 39 to Oregon after that undefeated regular season.

I'm not saying Jimbo would be a bad choice, but it's damn concerning that his team is trending down each of the last 3 seasons. That's exactly why we fired Les. Jimbo = Les 2.0 that can form complete sentences.

Some LSU fans now think 3 BCS bowls in a row and a NC sucks?

Tell what Coach O record was as head coach and how many bowl games he won?

Only way I'm on board with Coach O is if Fisher tells us no..

Indulge me, name 5 coaches with better resumes than Fisher.

You can't. So go frick yourself. You're cherry picking to try and make your argument valid. Coach O has coached 5 games, have you looked at the defensive statistics of those teams? LINK Here you go. Now, how about a little logic please.

Fisher has won 4 ACC titles, 3 of them consecutive, had 2 playoff appearances, 1 national title, 3 first round picks at QB, and an average wins per season >11.... Yet for some reason, this season is all that matters to you dip shits. Also, he has NO defense this year. Can you imagine what this cat could do with Aranda on the other side of the ball? It would be magical.

So again, go frick yourself. You and those like you are whats wrong with the LSU fan base. You put emotion ahead of logic. I'm sure you were one of the ones who wanted to keep Miles last season. fricking idiots.

Gotcha, thanks, and I am not promoting a hire Coach O campaign but I think he learned a lot from the days at Old Mrs. Since then he has done well considering he was interim and did not get a chance to put in his total plan (whatever that is) as a head coach. I am no expert at football but it would seem very difficult to make drastic changes when you are put in charge at mid season. Just saying so go ahead and tear me UP

This whole experience has been eye opening.

A guuy with 3 ACCs champs, 4 division champs, 2 playoff apperances, and a NC is on par with a guy with a BEST CASE 22-33 record if he wins out. All the while, most of those wins came after taking over a team built by someone else.

He has the 4th best winning percentage in the country since 2010. Behind only Saban, Urban, and Petersen.

60% completion and 3 rushing TD's, all while practically getting murdered all year. Jimbo is great at recognizing QB talent.
