I still have my doubts Fisher will be the LSU coach.

But how great would the reaction be if Orgeron, his lame duck staff, and depleted team, beat A&M to make it four straight regular seasons Jimbo has failed to reach 10 wins...only to then find out soon thereafter LSU's AD has agreed to commit OVER $100 million to lock Jimbo in as LSU's HC for a decade (contractually)? $100+ million for a guy who can't even beat one of LSU's worst teams in 20 years

I do feel that the majority of the LSU fan base will be underwhelmed by a Jimbo Fisher hire, especially after all of the talk that LSU is a top 3 coaching gig.

I at least respect Neil11adams' commitment to this. Each thread is consistent, but includes a little more info and the sense that some previous guesses were confirmed.

Not saying I believe you or don't believe you, but just that I appreciate the commitment and methodology. Based on your #of posts, you're probably another aTm fan, but at least you put some thought into it.

I suppose it could be much worse than he, but I do not understand why he would want to leave TAMU now. I really do not, but there are all manner of factors that would influence such a decision.
