Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh has already been linked to two coaching jobs, according to NFL insider Dianna Russini.

On Wednesday, Russini told Colin Cowherd on The Herd that Harbaugh’s name is “respected in league circles” and at least two teams could be interested in what he could bring back to the NFL: the Panthers and the Bears.

Russini said, “Let’s just start with Carolina, alright? You mentioned that David Tepper makes that firing last week with Frank Reich now out. If you remember, Tepper and Harbaugh had conversations last year. It obviously didn’t pan out, but this was something that they discussed. So that’s a name I’m hearing again.”

“The Chicago Bears are another organization I have heard has had some conversations about that depending on what decision they make with this coaching staff that is in place and of course what they do with that quarterback situation.”

Bears make too much sense. Harbaugh reached the Super Bowl with Kaep and a nasty defense. Chicago has a great roster and incredible draft equity.

Imagine coaching your college and your main NFL team. It's like a dream scenario.

Harbaugh and Tepper in the same building would be awfully entertaining to watch. Harbaugh used to kick Jed York out of meetings when he was in San Francisco, and Tepper seems like he has to be involved in every little detail of football operations.

I think Brian Kelly is in his last head coaching job unless he gets fired.

It's not 70 Mil if he leaves for a new job, that's only if LSU fires him. It's $2,000,000 if he leaves for another job after 1-1-24.

It makes literally 0 sense to leave LSU for Michigan.

It would make 0 sense to have left Notre Dame for Michigan.

For all the excuses made about Notre Dame recruiting limitations they've continually ranked ahead of Michigan in talent composite.

I’m a panthers fan, and don’t really know why anyone with options would take that job.

And their team president was the Big10 commissioner recently.
