Dallas certainly doesn't love Phillips but since 2007 only 1 coach has won more games - Bill Belichick. If this did happen - it would certainly hurt our ability to sign a top tier coach

Yet Les is one of the winningest coaches in college football over the last 5 years, and our fans want his arse outta here.

I guess Phillips just isnt looking good enough either.

Yep, talk about your two birds with one stone. Epic win if this happens (which it won't).

Les can be a great coach anywhere with great assistants underneath him. He can rally the troops for sure, just don't ask him to call a timeout.

The allure of being the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys could be too much to pass up, regardless of money. If he really wants him, he could be gone. And then everyone can go on to hating our next coach.

Dallas Cowboys:
Our sources tell us that Owner Jerry Jones still hasn't picked up the option for next season on Phillips who is in the final year of a three-year contract. We
have confirmed that Jones does have interest in LSU Head Coach Les Miles. It is expected that Phillips will not be back in Dallas unless they make it to
the Super Bowl, according to our sources.

Sweet Baby Jesus, make this true.

How bad of a spot would that put us in if we were looking for a coach in February? I think we might get fricked.

Jerry basically said in his radio program that Phillips is gone...Jerry always spews w/out thinking...As far as Miles, I can see it...he use to be at Dallas, and, Jerry needs someone he can control...Les is his guy

I'd take the hit this year, if it meant we end up with a Brian Kelly, or similar.

Our buyout to him is $15-17 million if we fire him.

He has to pay LSU ~$1 million if he goes to Michigan. Anywhere else he owes nothing.

If that happens, I wonder how fast I can sell my season tickets

he certainly restored LSU to it's glory days...have to think he could do the same for the Cowboys.

I guess I would just become a full-fledged Saints fan.

If it's after signing day, assuming rumors of the impending change do not swirl, February could be a good time.
