I sent him the thread when I started it. I didn't know there'd be 6 pages of hate.
But he just brushed it off anyway. A lot of people that he doesn't know saying mean things. Big deal.
But I was hoping for more serious questions for him to read and get a few comments on those questions.
Problem is, I think the negativity just made him dismiss the whole idea of responding to individual questions now.

you all are ridiculous. I have been a friend of Derek for a long time now. there is no one that will out work him. DP being involved in the program is a positive thing. derek earned this position through many many years of hard work and being involved in the program. derek's best attribute is his honesty. He was able to have many sources because those people trusted him. he was given a ton of info and didnt go tweeting trying to be the first to report something. that is why coaches love him. the players love having him around and he is a first class person.
We should be happy for people who get their dream position.
