That's a different motivation than the "he bleeds P&G" line earlier

As fans, we want what is best for LSU. He has played a role in getting an unqualified person hired to coach the only college program I care about.

I understand the motivation of someone who benefits financially from Orgeron being hired. He should understand how much displeasure LSU fans will feel about the worst coach in the history of Ole Miss being named our head coach.

Years? Or more like 2 years?

He lobbied for him to get the DL coach job by having him on his shitty show every week. I'm sorry but it's clear as day what's going on here

At least Les' guy dingman played CFB

What are ponamsky's qualifications other than being Ed's friend?

Why doesn't Ed hire Jimmy ott, he actually has known him for several years

Ask him why he doesn't want LSU to succeed, and why good ole boy politics are more important than winning, being experienced and having long term evidence of quality.

Oh he's a fan of LSU and the Sains, that certainly makes him qualified to dish out advice to a former top-tier college football program.

He responded with a generalized dismissal of all the negative comments.

He said "I wish they really knew the work I put in. I do more for LSU in one morning than most people do all day."

I've texted twice since then but I don't think I'll get another response back which is a shame cuz there are one or two serious posts in here I'd like to know the answers to as well.

He bleeds purple and gold though! Just as good as wins and losses in my book!

FIFY.

frick Derek Ponamsky and all of the spineless shills with him. Good ole boy mentality must be forced out of this state, its politics, and its institutions.

He is incredibly arrogant. All the work he does? Get over yourself and ask why so many people who love the school are upset.

No kidding

And ponamsky asked for this. You hitch your wagon to a public job, you get the criticism too

Let's be clear, he did a phenomenal job conning BR media and admins into thinking O was right for the program. I'll give him that. We just hired a coach with a losing record to coach a top 5 program. Well done.

Now, the problem is I know a lot of hard working people who suck at their job. All evidence points to O sucking at his job. So why is this good for LSU?
