If SW really did whiff/get played, his "rules" are now out the window

One main thing people kept referencing about Aranda was that "Scott isn't going to hire a guy with only 2 years of HC experience". Well, how can Woodward pretend to have such rigid rules as if he's been engaged in a methodical, Saban-like process?

Thankfully Tucker seems to be off the table to avoid that terrible panic hire. Now we have to avoid the terrible anxiety hires like Stoops and BoB.

You got Aranda or Kiffin, Scott. Make it happen.

If you frick it up with those 2, then you better not rope LSU into a mega contract with someone like Campbell. You are in the bargain basement at that time and need to be able to fire that coach to fix your epic frickup. Trying for Jimbo and pursuing Tucker made this a scary experience at the start, but you shouldn't have put all the eggs in a super longshot after that.

Lol. He already has his coach signed. My gosh this board is something else. He isn’t going after anyone. It’s done.

If Woodward believed offense and a QB guru was best for the future of the program why would he pivot from that because he struck out with Riley?

Then we're kind of fricked recruiting-wise unless that coach pulls a Petrino

The NFL goes through January 9

I think you still could have it. Based off the info it’s either Riley Aranda or Napier. I just know a deal is done and the fan base will be excited about it.

If he couldn't get it locked down 100% early enough, then it wasn't worth the risk.

Think of the difference in Riley and Aranda v. Aranda and Mark fricking Stoops. That gap made the risk -EV

Disagree, you have a chance to land one of the best, you take it. We will still get a good candidate. We have too much to offer

You have said its not Riley. It’s an nfl guy.

Wtf are you talking about?

In this stage, we might somehow seek to change the circumstances of the situation causing their grief. For example, a religious person whose loved one is dying might seek to negotiate with God to keep the person alive. Bargaining may help the grieving person cope by allowing them a sense of control in the face of helplessness.
