Schiano was 68-67 (.504) at Rutgers. Rutgers is 641–622 (.507) all-time.
Lol Rutgers is the same program with and without him. Sorry.
You do realize before rutgers was joined the big east in the early 90s I believe, their schedule consisted of colgate, army and other small east coast teams. The big game every year was against penn state. To compare his record to rutgers all time record is laughable. I grew up there and my parents had season tickets for 30 plus years. Schiano is a HUGE a-hole, but he completely turned that program around and basically got them into the big ten.

Eh. He did OK. Great year when he had a special player. But his success at Rutgers is over exaggerated
No, it's not.
I was at the school when the man was there. He is far from perfect, but the man can and will build a program. With really good talent, he'll get really good results. At a school where he can get recruits, he'll succeed.

He was at Rutgers 11 years and went 68-67.
However, In the 11 years before he got there, Rutgers went 37-83.
it also took him a full 4 years to turn around that dumpster fire. He went 56-33 after he got them going.
If you consider that bad then i dont know what to tell you. It's Rutgers man.

Bradley saying he doesn’t know anything is a giant crock. All those f-kers should rot.
Because you would know, right? You were there?
At some point you just have to admit defeat. You're wrong and baseless assumptions are the exact opposite of what our justice system is SUPPOSED TO stand for.

What did you see while you where there? I wasn't there but what I see from here is a man in jail for raping young boys, and a sworn deposition saying Schiano saw Sandusky committing a crime and not reporting it. I also see that Schiano declined to give any sworn statements only to deny that he said that on Tweeter. There is absolutely no way everyone on that staff wasn't aware of what was going on. What people should be pissed about is the only person to have morals and did the right thing lost his job and is black ball from coaching. Kind of makes be wonder just why people are defending Schaino with such vigar.

I wouldn't hire anyone that worked under Paterno during the time that Sandusky was there. They all knew. I wouldn't hire him to clean my pool.
It legitimately upsets me that that program still exists. Franklin deserves to disappear into irrelevancy just for taking that job.

Which is dumb. He's been extensively vetted numerous times (by college and pro organizations). Some dickhole tweets something out and some students rant on a rock and the dudes coaching life is over. Screw that.
agreed but it is the stupid arse mentality of mob justice warriors now. you are guilty because some uninformed arse hole said u are facts be damned.

His record improved when Miami and Virginia Tech left the Big East. Replaced with the likes of Louisville and UConn.
Also Rutgers started shelling out millions to play some of the sorriest OOC teams (Buffalo, Toledo, Ohio, Norfolk, etc) you can find.
Yes, Rutgers was bad and regularly got destroyed by Miami and the like, but Schiano took advantage of a weak conference and $$$ from the school for one of the easiest schedules in college football.

Same could be said for Saban at Miami.
Saban was a well established winner prior to the NFL. Schiano not so much...

Sit down, shut up, and let us show you how to hire a coach.
We will not be hiring our DLine coach

You mean Rutgers is going to struggle against Miami and Virginia Tech? Get out of town!
You could put Saban on the sidelines at Rutgers and he would not be ale to compete with those teams.

exactly, nothing in his resume says "yeah, this will work out!"
all this crap about other caoches giving props, hell pete carroll and Jimmy Johnson called alleva about O, it doesnt mean shite to them, they are just helping out a buddy.. Schiano would be a terrible hire, and Im sure Urban would love to let him walk out the door..

Because what you are saying is categorically false. The report states there was no evidence against Schinao. Mcquery sad he thought Schinal also saw something probably to get the huge amount of heat off of himself.

No, it isn't. The bulk of their wins come from when they were playing schools from the Ivy League, the academies, and schools that would eventually form the Patriot League. Once NCAA CFB split into 1A and 1AA divisions their (moderate at best) success fell off hard and fast.

"According to the court documents, Bradley, now the coordinator at UCLA, told McQueary that “another assistant coach had come to him in the early ’90s about a very similar situation” as had another individual “as far back as the early ‘80s about seeing (Sandusky) doing something with a boy.”
Joe Paterno knew of alleged sexual assault by Jerry Sandusky in 1976, court documents say
McQueary testified that Bradley said the assistant coach from the 1990s was Schiano, a Penn State assistant from 1990-95."
From USA Today
That sworn testimony never contained the word "thought" and you should learn what "categorically false" means.
