It's really amazing that some of you really went into such detail with timeline updates, your make believe sauces, Flight Aware, and you worked in podcasts dribble.
While it's obvious that you don't have much to do in real life, your dedication to your craft is duly noted.
VolTiger and DALSU would be so proud.
It's really gone beyond any regular year CC Board expectations.

Do you think these guys are doing this from a need-for-attention standpoint or trying to speak it into existence? I don't really understand what motivates someone to create an alter ego of some plugged in source and post made up shite over here.

I honestly think sometimes it’s agents. Not the actual agent, but I think information gets planted. It seems so stupid, but we know what happens on Twitter. Why wouldn’t it happen here? This is how information gets spread.

Attention...along with the odd desire for adulation among complete strangers.
The fun thing is that if you've been around long enough you've see several of these. Miles to Michigan (1), Miles to Michigan (2), Jimbo to LSU, Herman to LSU.
Honestly, the last coaching search was the most boring. O was fired midseason without any drama. There wasn't a ton of talk about new coaches outside of Lincoln Riley and Billy Napier. The only drama was Riley "surprising" everyone and taking the USC job right after OU's season ended. BK to LSU wasn't discussed much.
This one has been much more fun because (1) the midseason firing was a surprise with the Governor getting involved to wipe out the AD along with the HC; (2) Saban is "available", (3) there are more teams in the market, and (4) the consensus "top choice" LOVES to create attention.
And we haven't even gotten to "action week" yet. Stuff will really start flying next week as the season is coming to an end.

I think there are some who hear things but it’s also like recruiting info, you’re getting information from people on the LSU side of things so of course they feel good about where things stand

It's simple.... it's a personal need to feel important and for them to feel like they have meaning. They feel it as a since of purpose... likey due to their own insecurities within their job, home, life, etc.
In the end, theses sorts aren't anything more than an agitator than can't get by without stirring up false narratives.
