I’ve said it before and have to keep reminding myself….our reaction to the hire - whether we’re excited, disappointed, or meh - doesn’t matter in the grand scheme. It’s temporary.
The only thing that will matter, regardless of who the hire is, will be wins and losses on the field. Whatever our reaction is at the time of the hire, good or bad, doesn’t matter.
All that said, give me Riley or Aranda and I’ll be very happy lol. Give me Bill O’Brien and I’ll burn the athletic dept building down.

This isn't true
He is still talking to a few guys and might have a verbal yes from one but absolutely nothing is signed and wont be for another 10-14 days at minimum

Woody's going to rehire O, isn't he? I guess it would make sense. Right now, O is a remnant of the last AD. But, by firing him, and then rehiring him, O will be seen as Woody's choice. It's brilliant.

He would be my clear choice. Slight worry about recruiting but the LSU brand is big enough and history of pipeline to the league, it would be fine.
