I don't get all the deception. Letting the Riley rumors run up to the point of he's hired could do nothing but hurt LSU when he's not hired. What was there to gain for LSU to let them fly?
I get it if his guy is still coaching important games but if he is going to be all LSU he needs to start recruiting now.
I'd give him a 5 because I don't think it will be a huge name.

Depends on the hire. I have said all along we didn’t fire a coach that won a natty to go hire a sunbelt coach or some tier 2 guy like Mark Stoops.

Damn, there are more chicken littles in this fan base than I thought.
Why don’t we wait on the hire to pass judgment. Most of the fan base was thrilled with Johnson and Mulkey, and yet so many are on the ledge here.

We still don’t know who are guy is yet. If will still probably be a home run hire. Somebody who is competing for a championship now and is currently unavailable.
The only negative has been how Lincoln’s agent used us to get a larger paycheck.
