All of the stages of grief were bypassed except for anger. Said anger was stayed for one magical season in 2019, and then returned to stay.
It was pretty epic. There were some happy fans, some cautiously optimistic fans, some downright ecstatic fans... but the majority were thermonuclear. We had a poster banned for a porn bomb.

I didn't want it even before it was announced
However I did say I would root for him because I always root for my Tigers. And 2019 was great (still worth it). But since then, everything the people that didn't want him here said would happen, has happened big time. We got a special year out of it, but he is clearly not fit to keep running this ship.

It wasn't quite as bad as everyone described. After Tom Herman decided on Texas, there was no elite coach that everyone agreed on, so some people were indifferent.
The whole sale on Orgeron was that we'd get an elite head coach recruiter on the cheap, so we could spend money on hiring the best coordinators...
Unfortunately, we were bamboozled. Ed ended up getting a giant raise, and he never learned how to pick a good coordinator.
