I 100% agree with those who are saying that CLK will leave LSU in 4 or 5 years for “the next challenge “ of coaching an NFL team again … but as long as he wins a nat’l title or two before he goes, i could not care any less .

The difference in LK vs when we hired Saban is that we always knew the NFL was inevitable with Nick but this go around
1. He’s already gotten his taste of NFL HC life, granted with the Raiders but still.
2. The NFL looks to the college ranks much less than what they used to for hires
I’m not saying he absolutely won’t go back to the NFL but I don’t think it’s an inevitability either

I think he’s made a lot of changes including being back with his first love
Not sure if they have remarried or not?
I hope so- worth of mentioning - the great Saban has had ms Terry at his side all these years 50 plus!
Nick doesn’t do anything without her blessing- they’re truly a team
I hope Kiffin has that stability at home because the job is a pressure cooker
When adversity comes, a man needs peace at home and someone to encourage him… that’s a fact !
It’s sad to hear that all these coaches are cheating on their wives

I understand the guys work a lot of hours so it makes it difficult to believe that these guys have time to mess around and not be seen and have their photos taken
Everyone remembers the urban Meyer video that was released a couple years ago, where he was at a bar, and some young lady was rubbing up against him and he had his hand all over her hip rear end area…
How does one survive a divorce after that humiliation?

We can agree, I also dont think it’s inevitable that CLK will again bolt for the NFL.. but, past behavior being the best predictor of future success, behavior, whatnot- if i were a betting man, i think that’s how the pattern will go .. hope i am wrong, id love for CLK to have the type of dynastic run at LSU that Saban had at Bama .
