It would be the same result as the 2020 defense… a disaster. Also, he hates recruiting so there’s that.

Change my mind.

uhhhh no.

Also you would think that if brady hated recruiting in 2019, it was probably because he knew he was gone to the NFL soon.

Maybe he has reflected on his life and has decided he wants to coach college now, which means he's now accepting the fact that he has to give his full effort to recruiting.

The “he hates recruiting” was a dumbass rumor started by people on here. We’ve already proven nobody on here has sources so to keep saying it is ignorant

Well Pelini's peak was about a decade ago, Brady hasn't yet.

Also, Brady may not have worked in the NFL, but College players are not as good athletically as a whole.

Excuses, wishes, and hopes are not attributes Brian Kelly will be using when hiring his staff.

I think he said himself he didn't really like all the bullshite that comes with recruiting.

It really doesn't matter. If he comes back he would have to recruit and he was pretty good at it.

Had caleb williams and 2 top receivers committed.

Hmmm one hadn't coordinated a defense since 2007. Another coordinated the greatest offense of all time 2 years ago. Seem identical to me

It’s not at all the equivalent of hiring Pelini and that’s an awful comparison. Pelini was 13 years removed from being an SEC DC and he’d been consistently failing at Youngstown state when we hired him. Brady is 2 years removed from fielding the greatest offense ever and he had one rough year in the NFL with virtually no personnel to work with.

Really low IQ comparison, there isn’t even really anyone out there to compare Brady to because his career arc is unprecedented. He would be great here again, you need to change your name to DumbTakes

Is Brady a dinosaur running dated concepts we’d be plucking out of retirement ? No? Well then it’s not remotely the same.

We can debate if Brady is overrated and hiring him is just chasing ghosts but it’s not comparable to hiring Bo

Brady is running concepts that plenty of teams are running currently. The fact he had 4 first rounders on a college offense definitely had an effect with the offense he ran in college.

Hating recruiting and not participating in recruiting are two different things. When he left it was stated that in the nfl he did not have to recruit and he did not like it in CFB. That would mean it is a preference. Does not mean he did not do it and do it well.

I hate going to work every day but I do it and hopefully I do a good job...

Guess what bud? We always have a ton of first rounders on our roster. That’s what’s awesome about coaching at LSU vs coaching in the pros.

Swear some of you must have to baby proof your house still
