Yeah, but it's not something they can just change, their admission standards, and expect the overall prestige of ND to remain the same.
It's part of what makes them who they are.
The fact that Kelly brought them to such great heights at a blaring disadvantage, is something they should be thankful for, and they should look for a coach to build on BK's legacy, not forget it.

Two things...
ND was reportedly only paying CBK $2.83M. What? And that's after a BCS and 2 CFP appearances.
Anyone that believes a 5 star football recruit has to meet the same academic admissions standards is a fool.
I think it's a good hire but only time will tell.

Umm, at places like ND and the Ivy League schools, yeah. They do have to meet the same academic and character standards as everyone else.
I mean, how many LSU, Bama, Florida, OhSt players do you see that graduate with a degree in Sports Administration? More than half, usually. At Notre Dame, many of those players are graduating with degrees in Business Administration, Architectural Engineering, Computer Sciences, etc.
