How we feeling?
Does Hankton being hired relieve some of the concerns over a run heavy offense?
Will LSU be a 10 win team within the next two years?
Interested to hear thoughts.

I have an unpopular opinion that we will win 9 games this coming fall. No way does Kelly not find a way to do that with all the quality coaching he’s attracted to LSU.

It’s funny reading the UGA board and most are “glad he’s gone.” All the while not acknowledging the fact that Kirby Smart started Stetson Bennett all year long and had more to do with the lack of production from the WRs.

I don’t care what he did in the 2nd half of the NCG or how many interviews he did on morning shows, Bennett is still a mediocre college QB and when you start someone like him, your offense around him will reflect that.

Think the hire is more for recruiting purposes as the La Tech guy will help a lot with the WR room IMO

Everyone said Mickey Joseph was the weakest coach on staff and then were upset when he left.

Hankton is at least a push compared to Mickey. As someone else mentioned, Joe Sloan will likely have a hand in the WR room so I think we'll have a real team approach to development.

BK has done a nice job of surrounding himself with some guys he knows and local recruiters.

Things will change in a few years but a smart philosophy to start.

Well you made a pretty convincing argument, hard to refute your reasoning.

I personally think having another pretty good recruiter with Louisiana connections is a good thing.

Typical fans. Anyone leaving wasn’t that great. And anyone coming is Jesus.

If you think he’s bad, I’d like to hear your opinion on Mickey Joseph and DJ Mangus.

‘Member when LSU hired Mickey Joseph? Dude had never coached WRs before yet he brought in some of the best WRs that have ever played at LSU

Hankton is 100x the coach Mickey was when he was hired at LSU

If Joseph can have success, imagine what Hankton can do
