I’m probably in the minority here, but I’d be fine with giving Blake Baker a shot.
If LSU doesn’t, another school will.

There are no sure bet homerun hire coaches available. Not even kiffin. Kiffin has been around for forever through several blue blood programs and has zero hardware to show for it.
Dilly/Sumrall etc are just up and comers that happen to be a hot name right now (this season) and have the attention to show for it. They could be the next Nick Saban, or they could be the next Tom Herman, PJ Fleck, Lincoln Riley.

Probably so. Most of our fans have convinced themselves the same incompetent administration that botched the Kelly deal is capable of bagging a whale like Kiffin. I'd like to think they have a Plan B but I highly doubt it.
