Except for more money to keep his DC that he desperately wanted to keep.

:disregard easily offhand any suggestion Jimbo might stay at FSU:

:believe without question anonymous "insider" saying Jimbo will go to LSU:

Just let it all play out because in the end LSU will likely hire a very good coach as it is a very good job. All this insider info really doesn't mean anything until a deal is signed as evidenced.

Of course he might stay at FSU.

I believe one is truly saying what he's hearing. Yes. I do believe that LSU has contacted Fisher and I believe he has showed some interest in LSU. I also believe that Fisher is LSU's highest target. Does that mean it's a done deal? No.

There's nothing wrong with discussing possible coaching changes on a "coaching changes" message board.

Exactly. If I cared enough to research such a thing, I'm sure I could find similar facts about Mike Riley's situation in Corvalis before he left for Nebraska.

Hell, he had a lifetime contract at Oregon St, and walked away from it!

Per Wiki, his youngest son (I believe) has Fanconi anemia.

i never said there was, but just pointing out that the area of discussion revolving around the insider info is all just smoke and assumptions which doesn't really mean a whole lot and people nitpicking one "insiders" info while believing / propping up another's are all just throwing shite against the wall hoping something sticks.

Here is what I do know that I think I'm ok posting without breaking my guys trust.

1. Jimbo's ex wife is in Tally, with the kids. They love it here. No plans to move until kids are in college.

2. Son's medical care is set up here with specialists. Not an easy thing to uproot.

3. Jimbo's lady is a single mom who lives in tally, and who's father is a Big FSU guy, a booster, and is tight with Thrasher.

4. Jimbo, for all intents and purposes, gets whatever he wants from Fsu.

This is foolish.

I'm waiting for someone to tell me what's going on. Jon Gruden to LSU, presser at 4 and the first posts on the subject will start at 4:13am CST.

His budget for assistant coaches says otherwise. He got outbid for Pruitt by UGA after the national championship year.

if this is true then it's on Alleva to get his man. make him an offer he cannot refuse. Don't take no for an answer.

I thought "The Tally" is what got her in trouble in the first place!

this means nothing

There are great specialists in every big city. Tallahassee doesn't have some world renowned FA specialist. Jimbo and his family will be given preferential medical care wherever he is a coach.

Unless this Booster is going to single handedly cover the difference in salary + assistants that Fischer will get at LSU, this means nothing.

History has shown this to not be the case. We will see if they match or one up LSU's offer. I bet they don't.

If Fischer stays, it will not be for any of those reasons. It will be because FSU makes him an offer he can't refuse.

Getting outbid wasn't the main reason. Apparently he got caught messing around with FSU coeds and was pushed out

This is flat out wrong. They won't pay his assistants which LSU will. One of the biggest reasons for him to come here.

This is legit. Fanconi's anemia is a rare condition that requires a large team of specialty care. If I had a team of doctors already set for my son, I'd stay myself.
