That’s more like how my dad approached it. Starting the lecture about “why,” making you feel like absolute garbage. Then came the grounding terms.
Good memories we laugh about now. I’m sure a few shipping’s will be mentioned and laughed over tomorrow, as mom tries to tell us she never hit us.
The kid in the OP should realize soon enough that that was a bad move. A good parents “disappointment” works wonders.

It's wild how many people in this thread default to assuming Sully is being persecuted when he might have emotionally abused his children.

My gf works for CPS….. someone called this in. There are really bad terrible parents and then there are laws that within interpretation could hurt really good parents. It’s a crazy world
