If we really are going to pay White Sumlin $7.5 Million to get plowed by Saban every year, and half the SEC in years we don't have a 5 star phenom as QB.
Let's just fire him before we hire him and save ourselves the trouble of finding out in 6 years that he was never really that good to start with.

Texas media called FSU media to see if they could book them for December 3rd, due to Fisher. The amount that it looks like A&M is willing to pay is MORE than 50M over six years. If so, I would guess the number is more like 8.5M

fisher will be an upgrade over your present situation. I don't know how good he will be recruiting texas but if he is y'all are going to like having him. yes, you would be paying an insane amount of money for him and if anyone should have learned that paying a guy a fortune doesn't guarantee results. hell, sumlin was never worth 5 mil. and at the time he got that contract 5 mil was #2 in the country. is y'all pay 7 or 8 and a half mil for fisher he'll be the 3rd highest in the country. I think that's a better deal than sumlin was

I'm just ahead of the curve. Fisher looks great in the ACC, but Sumlin would too if he only had to get swag for 2-3 games a season.

That't great news. That's exactly the kind of thing FSU would leak if they are working to soften the blow from losing him.

will soon be ten million dollars a year for a coach and hardly anything for the players that play for him. This is a sad state of affairs

How many games a year does Sumlin coach against teams with better talent (recruiting rankings), better facilities, a higher HC and staff payroll, fan support, etc etc etc? The answer in one, maybe two in a couple of those categories. He's not getting fired for losing two games a year to Bama and LSU, he's getting fired for losing 3 other ones per year he shouldn't be losing.
