I'd rather Aranda if we are getting someone who's had fairly short stints as a Power 5 coach.

Everybody keep saying they want Aranda, but there were people on here wanting him fired after the Ole Miss game in 2019.

You had to know there would be and agenda to the higher with our new lsu president....

If has to be a minority coach.

Out of aranda, tucker I say Aranda, but I really don't like what to many of the other minority coachea bring to table. Taggart no, shaw no, Franklin no, norvwll no, dorell maybe but no.

Like it has to be Aranda or tucker. And Aranda is much more of a tactitian

Will never happen under Woodward

Tucker is far from my top choice, but when throwing out records, for him or anyone else, context is required.

He’s taken over two bad situations at Colorado and MSU. Any coach would have a bad record at those places initially.

He still has to play Ohio State and Michigan. Will be interesting to see how he finishes.

He wasn't a flawless DC but I thought he was very solid.

Aranda wouldn't be my first choice but neither would Mel Tucker.

I highly doubt Fickell will leave Cincy...he is from that area and Cincy will be a power 5 team soon going to the Big 12..

Big12 will be even worse than the garbage it is now once UT and OU are in the SEC

I’m done if they hire this guy solely because the color of his skin. He has a 14-12 record as a head coach and has no business being considered for this job.

Coach O’s college record, please?

Are you arguing for a head coaching candidate by using the resume of the coach we just fired?

Do you ever read the dumb shite you post before clicking submit?

I am not blown away by Tucker, however:

His win percentage as CFB HC is .539

The last HC LSU hired from MSU had a .576 while with the Spartans. . .and an 0-3 bowl record.

It’s not so much the record as it is the last of head coaching experience

His record just so happens to be terrible:

Michigan St will lose 3-4 games this year. The job he has done there is not even worthy of acknowledging yet

Mel Tucker won't leave MSU for LSU. He knows booster support would be lacking for him at LSU.

I agree. He’s worth monitoring. He’s not who I want but he’s a damn good coach.

You keep saying this. What are you basing this on?

I don't think the boosters would care about his skin color, so long as he wins.

His skin color may bring in new boosters, too.

Is it true 1 winning season?

They are about to play Michigan, Purdue, Maryland, Ohio St, and Penn St and likely finish their best season unranked.

We shall see.

Correct. He’s got a pretty record beating the likes of Nebraska and Indiana by the skin of his teeth. Let’s see how that pretty record looks after, Mich, Purdue, Ohio St and Penn St.

If he wins out he'll be legit. If not the buzz will die down
