ESPN reporting Harbough will....

either stay at Stanford or go pro. That said without starting a bash Miles thread they are saying that Miles is their next target. I will be the first to say I think Miles is a decent coach who doesn't get everything he should out of his talent. LSU letting him go and getting a top coach is the worst thing that could happen to the rest of the sec.

I agree, really hope Les stays. Only good thing about him leaving now is that it might kill their recruiting class.

Yep he will be a perrineal 8-10 win game coach and keep his team in the NC hunt but he is a known commodity at LSU. I don't want a Harbough or Whittingham type. Lach there. This damn conf is hard enough

Maybe Les doesn't get everything out of his talent, but who the hell could we hire right now that would be better?

I read that they were considering Brady Hoke after Harbaugh.

Who couldn't LSU get with this recruiting base Whittingham
would be a good start look what he does with the talent available at Utah. And before someone says look at the competition let's remember he handled a ten win Bama team and beat Cal the yr after.

Yea,but according to the Bama fans on the SEC Rant, the Tide didn't try in the Sugar Bowl since they weren't in the NC game.

People really downplay the loss of Ryan Perrilloux. Fine by me, Miles is staying anyway.
Looking forward to another top 5 recruiting class.

They didn't get Bama's best shot for sure.
but
They outcoached us, outplayed us, outhearted us, did I leave anything out. They just wanted to win more than anybody else.
With that being said, check the loser of the SECCG record in bowl games.

as long as Tennessee keeps Dooley.

Some of us said it I did not I said they were the better team then and I say it now. Whittingham is a good coach and could possibly do amazing things with the talent at LSU and like it or not Miles underutilized his talent

Whats was the score of the bama lsu game this year? The talent had to be equal with all the "great" recruiting classes bama has had since saban got there.
How in the hell did the defending national champs lose to an underachieving lsu team with no qb?

Yea, two 11 win seasons and a National Title is really underachieving. Plus, he's beaten "the hell out of "Alabama 4 times, at least by Million Dollar Band standards.

The Alabama-LSU game was decided by two blown coverages. That long pass play to Randle in the third quarter and the 3rd and 13 pass that all but sealed the deal in the fourth quarter.

Simple Bama played poorly. I understand you defending a coach you like and this isn't a flame on miles but one game doesn't define your career as a coach as much as it meant to LSU fans to beat Saban and Bama because that is a validation to most of your fan base that he is a great coach. Truth be told look at his body of work over his tenure. It is his fault LSU was as reliant on Periloux just like Bama was the better team than Texas because they were so reliant on McCoy.
