I don't know if synthetic oil protects engine better but they do last longer than dino oil. I use it for longer oil change interval purposes....

I wouldn't really call it a rivalry but I thought having a little bit of in-state competition was beneficial for both parties. UT never had that since the early 1920's. Past 5 years have been the worst 5 year stretch in UT history. If UT is good, a decent Vandy is not a bad thing for UT imo. ...
