The players vouching for him is hilarious considering most of them are there for another year or two max. I remember the players under Miles vouching for him to stay. Never go with the players wants, this isn’t LeBron or MJ hand picking their coach for a franchise.

Said in another thread a long while back that aggy would frick this up Royal or hit a homerun. They fricked this up. They thought coaches would be lining up to go there. Clearly nobody wants to go there.

that POS Orgeron
Assembled the most astounding college football team in history and delivered a season so perfect it will never be replicated.
He failed before. He failed after. But no one thought he would create what he did.

He didn’t create anything. He just got out of the way and let the adults around him take charge. When he actually tried to take control is when things went bad.

That fricking Joe Alleva hired that POS Orgeron in big part because the players clamored for him.
I mean that did kinda work out for y’all

He won the lottery with a generational qb you dork. Take that out of the equation and that season evaporates.

Sounding more and more like it will be Elko with ERob as his DC

this always goes so well for the program, when they do make this hire. LOLOL

If Burrow had won the job at Ohio State then Orgeron would have flamed out in three years tops.

If Dave Aranda hadn’t hired Bill Busch, Joe Burrow goes to Cincinnati

Man I don’t know how I would feel about that if I was elko.
A guy lobbying for the job…has players vocal on his side….in a prominent position on staff?
Sounds like a recipe for sabotage

Candidate? They’d be lucky to land him at the rate they’re going
Posted on 11/26/23 at 1:34 pm to Adam Banks
Ok but they already know each other well. When Elko was the DC - E Rob was on the staff.

And?
Posted on 11/26/23 at 1:44 pm to Adam Banks
Elko knows pretty much all the players as well and they love him. Also worked with ERob for four years. I don’t really see it being an issue

And I don’t know what will happen, but it doesn’t appear to be awkward from that standpoint. Both can coexist
