What choice do they have? LSU is a better job and Kiffin would rather be at LSU than UF
I mean, at least try. Make it interesting at least haha.

Actually, he's only gotten two 5 stars at Mizzou and his is recruiting classes have been in the middle of the pack in the SEC. Not terrible but not great
That is not a good way to look at it. Nobody is bringing a Top 10 recruiting class to Mizzou.
So, you need to compare his classes vs their historic norm. Look at the years before he got there and especially before he built the program.
They were not in the Top 40 except an occasional visit.
He's cut that in half at Mizzou! Damn impressive.
At Florida or LSU, he would be in the Top 10, just based on the history of the programs in recruiting.

Honestly would great a great hire. Wouldn't even hate him here (if Kiffin says no)

He would be a fool to leave Columbia, MO with what he has waiting in the wings on offense for next year.

They could all leave with him.

word on the Tulane streets is Sumrall wants Auburn. This was of course before LSU firing Kelly.

What are the odds Kiffin stays at Ole Miss?

You realize some players likely go with him

According to BetOnline, Drink is now -105 to be the next a Florida HC.
Are these ever right?
I can't remember the last one that was right.

Usually they are all over the place. I can't remember ever seeing a coach at - odds for one of these though. Usually they just list a bunch of coaches around +400 to +2000 and just rely on a bunch of dumb bettors.

quote:You're looking at it the wrong way. He has gotten 3 top 20 recruiting classes AT MIZZOU! And all 3 literally came in the last 4 recruiting classes. His 2025 class he had 3 top 75 overall recruits, and he has 9 total in the top 200 over the last 2 classes. Also, look at what he has done in the portal the last 2 years.
Actually, he's only gotten two 5 stars at Mizzou and his is recruiting classes have been in the middle of the pack in the SEC. Not terrible but not great

What are your odds kiffin stays at ole miss?
If lsu wasn't in the mix I'd put it at 70% he stays. Now that lsu is open I put it at 50/50.

Are they conceding Kiffin to LSU if LSU wants him?
Read between the lines…

Transfer portal, baby
He can now have it waiting in the wings anywhere he goes.
That being said, Missouri passed a state law that their HS athletes are allowed to receive NIL while still in HS, ONLY if they're committed to a university in Missouri.
This has allowed Drink to pretty much lock down the state and pick what we wants, it's a huge advantage for Mizzou in recruiting.
Not saying that's enough to keep him there, I think it might take a couple years but UF would be dangerous with him at the helm

My personal odds? Yeah probably like 50/50
He has the 3rd best odds (+400) to go to LSU according to Vegas. Also has the 3rd best odds to go to Florida according to Vegas.
