I like O as a person, but he would be a cancer on the staff

I applaud his efforts to get back into coaching. He's probably bored chasing tail.

His LSU checks just ended. He needs the money after his ex wife took him to the cleaners

He's always wanted to coach there, since he was a little boy

It's his dream job. Like all the others were.

Ed is 64. I know I won't be working at 64. I've been doing what I do for 30 years now. I have just a little left in the tank. Not sure how much Ed has left.

At least he's out there trying, unlike another former LSU coach.

O is a likable guy.

Kelly is about as tolerable as 1,000 paper cuts following by a swim in rubbing alcohol.

A judge just awarded half of it to his ex-wife,

What stings even more, is if I recall correctly, it was a 3-2 decision from the state supreme court

You'll be entertained to say the least. If Sumrall fails you have your next Coach lined up.

Ed would take the D-Line job at Southern if they would offer it. He’s desperate and running out of money

Crazy he only starts trying when his buyout money is drying up

Probably with the caveat that his son remains on Sumrall's staff.

said he’s interested in joining Sumrall’s staff, most likely as DL coach.

Orgeron has been interested in every job opening in college football but I’ve yet to see any program reciprocate that interest

Well he’s now been paid all of his buyout. He hasn’t really been doing anything but screwing around the last 4 years

Feel bad for O. I like him but sure seems desparate.

Step 1: Hire a G5 coach from Louisiana
Step 2: Hire Louisiana recruiters to recruit to… Florida.
Step 3: Fire that coach
Rinse and repeat
