Eagles are hiring Colts' OC Nick Sirianni as their head coach, sources tell ESPN. Sirianni spent three seasons as a Chiefs' assistant coach, five seasons with the Chargers, and the past three with the Colts. Now the 39-year-old Sirianni becomes the lead man in Philadelphia.

Dennis Allen remains as Saints DC, Nielsen as DL.

O: Try again but follow protocol and ask Sean permission 1st.

Internal and external. We interviews basically the entire chiefs and cowboys coaching staffs.

The list of people the eagles didn't interview is shorter than the list of who they spoke to

How much did Sirianni have to do with the so-called offensive line that let Luck be abused?

The Colts have had an excellent line for several years now. Sirianni is 39. He joined the Colts in 2018 to become the OC.....so I'm going to guess not a damn thing.

This is Philadelphia admitting (correctly) that Frank Reich was the brains behind their Super Bowl run. Since they can't get Reich back, bringing in his whiz kid OC is the next best thing. I think this is a great hire.

I think sirianni is a better hire than McDaniels.

Who ever took the job had to promise to fix Carson wentz. It was never going to be a defensive coach.

I remember laughing and talking smack about the Doug Petersen hire and then he won a Super Bowl.

Eagles reached out and he wasn't interested. I think he was the #2 choice behind Riley

Yep!
I'm sure Allen told Payton he would go if offered. Glenn is gone so he had to keep Nielsen. Boss of the defense is not going anywhere now so maybe there is a chance it could still happen. Not gonna hold my breath. You?

Yeah. Clearly he is a victim and it has nothing to do with what he says in interviews or how he conducts himself

Think daboll only interviewed with a couple of teams and basically turned it down

Happens a lot when a coach thinks his team can win a superbowl

Lol what? If he has a shot to be a head coach you accept the job and start after the super bowl
