I don't know if Wilks did enough to get the interim tag taken off of him. It seems to me like winning 6 games with that group of players was pretty amazing.
Problem is, there is no penalty when an owner is just an idiot.

David Tepper has been an embarrassment. Unfortunately, the type of folks who can afford these teams are not willing to give up control on major decisions, just like Jerry, Snyder, etc.
He has made a myriad of mistakes both with football related matters and also the business side.

Billionaire owners care about race when running their business. Said no billionaire ever. If the owner thought a black man can make money for his business he's going to let them do it because I can promise you regardless if an owner is racist or not, he likes money above anything else.

I could be wrong but I don’t think the “racist” argument is that owners know the black candidates are better and just choose the white ones because they are racist, I believe the argument is that they believe the white candidates are better than the black candidates because they are racist. I think both of the potential perspectives are stupid, but just wanted to clarify that.
