The dumpster fire known as UCLA ran all over him. Kentucky was equally ugly. The fact we had to outscore Florida to win was disturbing. He was below average IMO.

Jones could definitely get a DC job at a smaller school

So are you saying that you want to keep a mediocre coach just because he is black?

Turn the page, brothers. It doesn’t matter anymore.

He wasn't the complete clusterfrick that Peetz was, but I wouldn't call it a "great job". We were 10th in the conference in points and yards allowed per game.

Orgeron knew his job was on the line coming into the season, yet he hired BOTH coordinators sans play calling experience.

Both coordinators knew the situation coming in and obviously accepted in order to gain experience.

In a different time and under different circumstances, maybe those coordinators would have evolved into beloved LSU coaches.

Orgeron (and by extension the coordinators) didn't have that luxury of time.

They were both making over $1M per year. It wasn't exactly an internship.

Is it possible he's staying on as DB or CB coach?

Would be unconventional but not necessarily bad move by him. With both he and house having NFL experience there's shared groundwork in both process and communication that House is probably going to install.

Maybe he leads the secondary coaching staff overall. Would warrant higher pay and he would be better than we were getting out of Raymond.

I wish he was staying instead of hiring cooks.

I don't think you have enough spots left.

Well if cooks stays as an analyst then that wouldn’t count toward the 10 right?

Do assistants count toward that number or no?

10 on field coaches. Analysts don’t count towards that number because they don’t coach.

Good riddance I am tired of hearing praise this dude for zero blitzing in 3 games.
