Lane and Sexton are Trolling LSU, Florida , and the NCAA at the highest level.

And the OM players, administrators, boosters, and fans if that were the case.

The exact finebaum quote (finebaum has said multiple times he thinks Florida fits better but not once has predicted him to land at Florida)

“So it seems like LSU, right now, is the hot team. It could change, because we are dealing with Lane Kiffin,” Finebaum said.

Too many sauces point to Lane going to LSU per TD.

That many posters on TD can't be wrong!

Even if true, it doesn’t change the damage done to their chances of winning the Egg Bowl and earning a playoff berth.

Heard one guy make a good case that Lane going to Texas … Steve going to the Giants… he said Florida and Ole Miss already aware of this… LSU getting strung along… sounds like BS… also claims Tulane coach going to Ole Miss… the agents punishing LSU for reneging on a buyout

Yes.

If TX or AL open up by Sunday PM, he is 100% NOT going to LSU.

Other than that, 50% chance he stays. You’re leaning into a good coach who is also a petulant child.

There’s a more diverse group of media (geographically diverse) saying Florida, while our echo chamber says LSU. That has me a little worried that we’ve set ourselves up for a program-crippling melt this weekend.

LSU not reneging on shite. BK will be paid according to his contract. I’m tired of this bullshite false narrative.

If BK wants to negotiate a lump sum payout in good faith and can reach acceptable terms, awesome. If not, frick him.

There is NO guarantee where he lands.
Until it's done, it's all conjecture and best guesses.

Exactly. Per capita, Gainesville's crime rate is higher than Baton Rouge. G-town was also voted the most dangerous SEC city. It's a land-locked shithole, not the sunny beachy paradise he seems to think it is.

Kiffin would be the first, but certainly not the last, to leave his team under these circumstances. The confluence of the early signing period, portal window, and a 12- team playoff have created timing that just has not existed historically. Top 5-10 coaches have left in the past as the obvious hot commodities in the market. Now those same coaches are going to be playoff bound. They can’t just wait until they are no longer a top prospect to make a move.

How is the 54 million not an acceptable term by the terms of the contract

I'm definitely not confident. I'd put it at less than 50/50
