It's a fair assumption that O was looking at Kiffin. That's not all that's been spun into fact on this board. The "fact" that Kiffin was the only person in this meme-tastic binder, the "fact" that nothing else was being done until Kiffin made his call, the "fact" that Kiffin told O he would come here, etc. That's why this looks bad, because people invented these "facts."

It was assumed and then twisted into a fabulous lie that O had promised Alleva he would get Kiffin. Nobody here has any proof of such a scenario. The assholes on this board running with that false narrative make me sick. I'm sure O told Alleva that he felt he had a great shot at Kiffin and probably relayed the things Kiffin had told him. They're both smart enough though to know at that time that Kiffin would most likely take a HC gig if offered. I truly despise some of these "fans" screaming from the rooftops about what a failure Orgeron is because he promised Kiffin and didn't deliver.
