Thank God we avoided that fraud Tucker.
We get it. We all know that you hate Tucker. Just remember that fraud is the only person that beat the current #2 team in the country and has MSU ranked #11 in the country. I didn't want Tucker either, but some of you can't see when someone is actually a decent coach. Tucker was never coming here, but calling him a 'fraud' is ill-informed at best.

Yeah, um, he has had one winning season as a HC. That's called an "outlier." Say it slowly. I've posted extensive background on Tucker here demonstrating beyond any real doubt that this season is an anomaly and that the remainder of his career has been characterized by consistent failure and mediocrity. I won't do it again. In any event, it's moot. The overrated mediocrity won't have anything to do with my alma mater. Feel free to take up support of the Spartans. He'll never win a thing of note there.
Kelly isn't just a better coach than Tucker, he is a hundred times better.

Even though my guy is not listed in the five or six that’s OK I’m satisfied

Does Jimbo have incriminating pics of Woody or something?
Scott's fascination with Fisher is beyond bizarre. He peaked at FSU and walked away after he had reduced Bowden's storied program to ash.
I just don't get it, and if it's true I'm incredibly thankful that Fisher wanted to stay at aggy.

Honestly it went exactly like most said. The deal was in place. It wasn’t Riley. We just didn’t know who. Only a handful knew.

I think this explains a bit too why insiders like TBL who are usually right got this one wrong. If you had an entire suite of boosters staring at the OU/OSU game thinking we’re getting Riley while woody laughs in his head behind him, it’s clear he had a lot of people fooled.

if true, which it seems to be, this is quite the indictment of all this board's so called "insiders". proves they were pretty much just taking message board rumors and running with it
One thing Woodward seems to have done is tighten up the leaks that were everywhere during Alleva's time.

Ahh competent leadership. Sure feels nice

If Kelly would have turned us down Jimbo would’ve been our coach . Kelly was always Scott’s first choice as it should’ve been if u are a great athletic Director you have to go after the best some might say The unattainable. Jimbo understood that so when Kelly told Scott yes Jimbo comes out with a second denial. Everybody still wins , You just cannot conduct a football coaching search at LSU trying to put your stamp on the program, and Jimbo be your number 1 choice, because of the A&M hire and the payoff it has given A&M thus far. He had to go after someone that people would think would be unattainable, because if he says no then Jimbo could be your fallback. I believe Jimbo understood that, and him and Scott has a personal relationship and it was all about business.

I think it also lends credence to the never-ending “smokescreens” attributed to Woodward. Dude kept it close to the vest. Very impressive job.

It's pretty obvious now that Trace Armstrong was behind all the smoke with Lincoln Riley, right?
I mean that's the only thing that makes the most sense. Worked out for both of his clients.
Next time focus on the agents and not the coaches so hard. It is easy to see who wants the next step and you now damn sure know Woodward’s criteria. Jay Johnson should have taught this board a lesson. It did teach me one which is why in 10/26 I said to shut the board down.
