Dellenger hinting Tulane has their coach on X. Not saying who.
Dellenger has a future as a private investigator if this journalist thing doesn't work out.
Kiffin respects his effort.

You gathered all that info from him posting a pic that he was at the Wilson Center?

Tulane football is certainly not a coaching graveyard anymore
They still need to invest about $75m into facilities and they could be the top G5 team long term or jump to a better conference.

Kane Wommack is going to get one of these good G5 jobs like Tulane, Memphis or UsF
This is actually who I thought of regarding Blake. He had a job at a mid-level G5 and left to become a DC at Bama. I’d say the gap between South and Tulane is a lot less than between HC at Tulane vs DC at LSU/Bama.
He’s better off waiting at LSU for a P4 job.

probably should have gotten the arkansas job. he did a solid job at USA.

Guess we'd just have to watch the news like our parents used to do.

Its napier
Nah.
If it's Blake Baker, then I think you're looking at another hire again in 2-3 yrs.
If it's Napier, I think the shine has come off while at Florida, and he stays awhile (won't get poached). In Napier's favor, he did build a good Sun Belt program at ULL, and would have some recruiting experience (as in, he knows how to go after the guys LSU won't lock up). Add to that he has some big-time SEC experience under his belt now, coming from Fla.
I think Napier made too big a jump, from the Sun Belt to an upper-tier SEC program like Florida; he should have hit a higher G5 (like Tulane) or a lower tier P4 (say Miss State) first. Florida ate him for lunch.

His offense that he called himself was terrible at Florida

You want the head coach running the program.
Which was part of the learning experience going to Florida, granted.

imagine if they hired Ed O. Would be spectacular!

I read that Tulane was looking for a HC with head coaching experience.

If Baker keeps the Tulane program moving then he can get a big time job in 2 years easily.
I would say if he does the same as the DC at LSU the next 2 years he’d have the same opportunities at big job openings.
And he has a much better chance to continue to look really good as the dc at lsu than he does as the HC at Tulane.

I don't disagree with that but I wasn't high on Baker coming to Tulane because he didn't have HC experience.
I realize that a coach doesn't necessarily need HC experience in order to become a good HC. However could we agree that if he goes to Tulane and wins 10 games 2 years in a row, that would show programs that he could at least run an entire team?

They would like it, but if certain money people believe Baker is the guy they would offer him the job.
