Being told by high level LSU insider that discussions will go very quickly and that under consideration in no specific order:
Shoop, Busch, Chizik and multiple NFL Coaches.
Phones are blowing up with interest to join staff on all levels!

Chizik is a hell of a DC and recruiter ..plus his time breaking down film as a broadcaster only makes him more desireable

The Chiz is an elite DC. Not a good HC, but as a DC he is one of the best.

Chizik is a Broyles award winning defensive coach.
He also knows that half the battle is recruiting elite talent on a consistent basis.
My only concern would be that he's been out of the game for a few years.

Chizik would be a great hire IMO, He has had success as a DC in the SEC and isnt a crazy a-hole. the other 2 are legit also IMO.

I think he'd be more than ok... He's been working analyzing football, plus with O's deep connections to seemingly everyone, I'm sure he'd get all the refreshers he needed

I wouldn’t really care for chizik but he’s a very good DC. He’s the sole reason UNC had that 10-11 win season a few years back. Once he left they plummeted. But yeah he’s definitely option 5+ after the first handful
