And, that's why no "big name" coach will take the job.

I think it’s definitely something that coaches consider. That being said, LSU will provide you with everything you need to do it. So if a coach is competitive then that shouldn’t bother them.

Whatever. If the Auburn RB stays in bounds yesterday Harsin beats Saban and honestly LSU should have beaten Saban this year.

I guess Riley forgot he has to go though Saban in a few years.

He will probably jump ship to the Pros before he has to face an SEC schedule every year.

Yeah but Saban’s shelf life timing is now ticking. Won’t be all that long before he has had enough of the gump fan base and realize what he’s done can’t be out done and move along to something else.

Saban is about to turn 70. He isn’t coaching more than 2-3 more years at most.

Big time coaches aren’t scared if that.

At 70 Saban is having a rebuilding year at 11-1. Those are the facts. Firing a coach not even 2 seasons after he won a natty even if you have money and resources isn't a good look for guys who can make millions in less pressure jobs.

Saban’s on the decline brochacho. If that much isn’t painfully clear to you, then you just might be neck deep in denial, and I’m not talking about the river.

And so we’re clear, any “big name” coach who doesn’t want to play the big dogs is no coach for LSU.

You think O got fired because it’s a “pressure job”?

Then you were paying attention to the off field BS. This was O stepping on his pecker too many times and the product on the field suffered so he had no safety net.
