Bo will do really well

Sounds like its gonna be Bo. Bo has already said he's not taking the LSU job, if that was genuinely true, Coach O could follow suit without stepping on any toes and both sides could he done with those rumors.

This is a bit granular, as opposed to a general observation, but I think there's attraction LSU offers for NFL coaches that the league doesn't necessarily offer.
Look at Kris Richard (who I think a holdup with him at the moment is a possible DC change in Green Bay, as he has ties to Matt LaFleur). The Cowboys D may have underperformed a bit, relative to their talent level, but they weren't terrible (11th in total defense). He lost his job (in part) due to a HC change and a new HC who wanted his own guy (Mike Nolan) in that spot.
If he wants to be selective in where and for whom he coaches next in the NFL, then the stability LSU offers (Ed isn't going anywhere) might be attractive to him or other coaches who want to coach NFL-caliber talent, use NFL-caliber schemes with that talent, have a free hand to run his defense as he sees fit, and make as much if not more money than they'd earn in the league.
In short, don't sleep on an NFL coach who wants to move to college for 3-4 years, at least, once the "right" fit opens up on the next level.

Damnnn Unlucky has quality sauces. Interesting. I’m a fan. Keep the defensive staff in tact and add an aggressive DC with NFL LB coaching experience. I think Pelini would stay at LSU a long time too.

I'm indifferent on Pelini. We've seen him be capable of being a high level DC, maybe he can be again... but it's been a long time since he's coordinated a defense...the game has changed a lot since he was a hot name at LSU.
So this would feel like a neutral hire to me. Won't say I hate it, won't say I love it until I see what he brings in his 2nd round.

Hopefully that applies to the Passing Game Coordinator vacancy as well
Dude was still a grad assistant three seasons ago.
If theres a better selling point than that Ive never heard of it.

Sounds like the same thing he said with all the recruits calling to come in. Let's hope this works out better than that did.

There’s another Bo we are looking at to replace Brady.

Aranda did open up the highest paid non HC position in college football.

Are you saying Bo as in an older coach that would stay a while?
Or somebody else named Bo?
Haha I want to figure it out

Bo is somebody that I know very well and have high respect for. He’s a great defensive coordinator. He did a great job at LSU.”
get ready for the pansies to melt over that FACTUAL statement from coach O.
I've been out of pocket the last week or so - are people really upset at the idea of Pelini being DC?
Dude would be a solid hire, to say the least.

sadly yes
it has been pathetic.
my guess is a combo of
1) youngsters who never watched him coach and think 52 is an old man.
guess they woulda hated dick lebeau. coached until almost 80 effectively as one of the best DC's ever in the NFL. 2) emotional SJW types who want a stoic, lethargic, non aggressive, NICE GUY...if it all goes to shite they want to be able to say " HE WAS A GOOD MAN"
3) football ignorance due to age and willful laziness (which we have boatloads of here sadly)
4) all 3 of the above

Another way to look at that is that he went from grad assistant to Saints analyst in 4 years.
Brady's really good at what he does. That's why he's gotten so much responsibility so quickly. LSU certainly accelerated the process for him but I believe he was going to make it to OC eventually.
