with chavis being known as a LB guy i do expect us to fair much better against the mobile QB than pelini did

I heard Raymond to DB's.......
But I won't complain if Joseph got the job.

also raymond actually did coach the DBs a good bit due to doug being the DC. I wouldn't like the hire

Leonard Little 6 3 247
Al Wilson 6 240
Kevin Burnett 6 3 227
Marvin Mitchell 6 3 249
Jerod Mayo 6 1 242
Not sure if the weights are what they were at UT. None of them very tall.

well, if they are simply well coached and they know what they are doing, it will make the same guys PLAY "faster".
I am confident we will get THAT, at least.

I misread your post, I substituted Raymond for Joseph when I read that.

I would hope you wouldn't complain about a NFL DB coach coming to LSU as DB coach.

I agree, and I was never really too sure of the Raymond as DB coach rumors. He hadn't been in CFB that long.

I can feel the rockets being lobbed my way now, but with as much praise Moffit receives, I have been surprised by the number of players that carry more weight than what appears to be normal for their position.
Under Searles, I used to believe that the gelling of the offensive line used to be related to coaching. Maybe some of the "credit" should go to the strength and conditioning of the players at the beginning of the season.

Yeah, just keep that kind of rational talk off of the rant and you will be fine.

Dude,
I wasn't giving you an A or B alternative. I was simply implying that our current players will be better with better coaching.
HARDLY, a controversial idea.

I think Moffitt gets an idea from the coaches about what they want their players to look like. If Chavis wants them trim, Moffitt will have something for their asses in the spring.

i don't fully disagree with this, but under miles it appears that we're going for the classic big10 look
big, powerful, slow
i hope he gives chavis full autonomy and the big/slow D was more bo p than miles
