I would think in this case LSU just wants it to go away. They probably could drag it out and maybe settle but they don't want to deal with it from a PR standpoint.

Well yeah and they don’t have reason to fire him with cause. They were making empty threats and he knew it.

Would be hilarious but doubt Ole Miss is that stupid. I'd be shocked if any big P5 program wants BK after seeing how lazy he was at LSU.

What a 100 million+ certified loser. Dude got out coached by Orgeron and Miles. You could not do anything with the massive resources LSU gave you? Loser. a rich loser but still a massive loser.

Screw Woodward.

The only good thing is this clears the way for our next coach without this baggage hanging over our head.

He is going to have to find a job at market value like James Franklin did and offset it.

Just hope he wants to coach still. It could be a media job that pays $500k per year. That would suck for LSU.

The letter details Kelly’s responsibility to mitigate the buyout. That includes making “good-faith, reasonable a sustained efforts to obtain” employment.

LSU expects Kelly to “maintain reasonable documentation of” his job search, including interviews and offers, per the letter.

My favorite in bold.

Next letter that BK will receive is below:

Dear BK,

I am your parole officer here at LSU. You must check in with me every 30 days and bring with you a list of jobs that you have interviewed for. The list must contain names and phone numbers of those that conducted the interviews.

Please email me the list with the contact information at least 48 hours from our scheduled Zoom meeting.

Sincerely,

Mike the Tiger

LSU will find a way out that contract if he is not looking for work.

need him to find a job making as much as possible to cut down our buyout.

I don’t think BK wants to find a job so we’re kind of calling his bluff. If he jacks around they pull the plug on his buyout. He lands a job and a portion of the buyout gets mitigated.

Hope he gets another job. Hes not a bad coach, just doesn't want to work hard and doesn't want a high pressure situation. Wisconsin would be a good job for him if that would come open but id expect him to want to be in the north east

You’re assuming someone will pay that amount. Looking for a job is easy to do. Doesn’t mean he has to accept anything

I'm curious of the specifics of that part of the contract.

Does it specify what kind of jobs? Because there's no fricking way he'll get 6 years worth of HC interviews.
